The Adaptive Dimension in Practice:
For one of the elements of ECS 303, we were asked to read course material to become educated on the adaptive dimension. After reading on the topic, we were asked to write a narrative about someone we know, or a fictional character. The narrative needed to include their daily routine and who they were as a learner. After creating the narrative, we were placed into groups and asked to read our narratives to our peers. Once reading the narratives, we chose one and worked on an adaptive dimension for it.
The process of working on this allowed us to become more familiar with the ways the adaptive dimension can be implemented into the classroom. It also allowed us to realize that there will be many learners we come across in our career that need the adaptive dimension to succeed in their academics.
