"Taylor is an effective verbal and non-verbal communicator. She has a presence that is necessary in teaching and she is engaging. She is very good at involving students in the learning process, as well as ensuring they stay on task and produce top quality work. She needs very little direction and she takes initiative. Intuitively, she knows which students require academic supports and which require polite redirection. I purposely plan to teach more difficult concepts when she is present because she does such an excellent job of guiding students. She will have the opportunity to demonstrate her ability to promote flexible thinking, as well as to plan and execute instructional tasks soon when she leads a science lesson."
