Today I decided to listen to the podcast Let's Learn Italian on Spotify. They are quick podcasts that range from 1-10 minutes each. I started off today with the Italian greetings podcast, which went over how to say simple/common greetings in Italian. Here is what I have learnt so far...
Yes - si No - no Good Day - Buongiorno Good Evening - Buonasera Goodnight - Buona Notte Goodbye - Arrivederci A lot of these phrases were familiar to me from hearing them at some family gatherings, but I was unaware of how to fully pronounce them. I spent a good amount of time on each word to ensure I was saying it properly. I found the hardest part was rolling my tongue as I haven't practiced doing that. The next episode I am going to be listening to is how to say phrases such as 'you're welcome'. Before I begin that episode tomorrow, I am going to put some time aside to practice my tongue rolling to ensure I am doing it properly! Looking forward to continuing this journey!

Hello, Taylor Blake, reading your post I found it very interesting and fascinating that your doing a learning project on learning a new language. I've always found learning a new language very beneficial and exciting. In my first and second year in my teaching program one of my courses I had to learning a new language an it was amazing and the class had an amazing, fun time. It sounds like you are doing an amazing job and keep up the awesome work in your learning process.
